OUR PROJECT

Cul de sac

Based in Rotterdam, our goal is to reconnect these impasses with the rest of the city and its citizen.
By adding 1km2 materialize by half a cube, we try to add an attraction in each street and bring them back to life. Life represented by each of the five human senses through five different sensorial experiences.

SIGHT
Light Experience: By add neon tubes directly on the street, we can create an attraction for people.

HEARING
Voice Experience: By adding downpipes directly on the street, we can create an attraction for people. Try to talk with someone throught this orange tubes.

TOUCH
Fabric Experience: By adding shapes made with sewing thread directly on the street, we can create an attraction for people. A metallic cage to attached all that wires and a piece of fabric for the text.

TASTE
Tast Buds Experience: By adding food & drinks directly on the street, we can create an attraction for people.
By using the 5 flavors of food: salty, sweet, sour, bitter and unami.

SMELL
Odors Experience: By adding different odors directly on the street, we can create an attraction for people. By using colored smoke trapped in glass boxes.
